Pros and cons of Debts app for iPhone and iPad

Debts app good for

I spent whole day to review all the apps using snowball method. This is thr best one i see ever. I need to find something can customize the order of my all Debts. Finally, this one made it. Other apps are slow or without custom order or not accuracy as this app. If this app can allow me input initial balance and current balance, that will be perfect!
Ive tried a lot of these apps and Debts is still the one Im using to track everything. Great to see the progress meter filling up as your debt shrinks. Highly recommend this app. Now that theres an iPad interface we just need a (secure) sync and it will be the ultimate debt tracking app.
I wrote an earlier review of this app that was not very positive. I hope this one will over write my earlier comments. Initially I was under the impression that we were unable to edit the debt entered but realized that tapping on the debt and clicking on the blue disclosure button takes you to different areas. Now I can say Im very excited and look forward to successfully using the app.
I tried debttracker, debt free, debt snowball and pay off debt and I have to say this one is the best one of all these debt apps. Once you learn how to use this app it is a really good app to setting up your plan to get out of debt. It was good they added the fix to be able to put 0% as an option. The only thing That Debts needs too fix is the option to go back and edit your Debts in case you enter it wrong instead of starting over. Very good app!! If you stick to it you will get yourself out of debt. You also can adjust your plan if it is to tough on your checkbook.
Ive been looking for a debt management app for a while now and most of the others I found were useful but the didnt do what I needed. I wanted an app that would let me prioritize my Debts because I have some that are fixed loans and will payout on time like my car payments, but I have others that have a promotional interest free period that have to be paid out by a certain date otherwise Ill get charged the accrued interest. This app lets me prioritize and still use the snowball method. It tells me my estimated debt free date and also gives me each individual Debts estimated payoff date. It also lets me adjust my payment amount, when I set up the various Debts I just put the minimum payment amount in, but when you go to the payments tab, you can edit the amount you actually paid which is great because I usually make more than the minimum payment. It then recalculates my future payments and debt free date. This app is definitely worth the $3!
I was trying out about 5 different debt snowball apps. At first I wasnt impressed with this app and I had moved it to the side for deleting. Some of the other apps were simpler to work with less screens to navigate in order to get your payoff schedule. But when it came to entering your monthly payments and recalculating your snowball payoff all the others failed. Calculation were off...unable to adjust monthly payments...unable to adjust the payment dates. This app performs nicely once you get use to it. So glad I didnt delete.

Some bad moments

You NEED to input something under "interest" in order to be able to click on the "DONE" button when adding new financials to your list. So apparently, ALL Debts MUST have an interest (%) charge, in order to be counted or added on anyones list??!
This app would be great if it didnt freeze all the time. Youre not able to change the opening balance amount without having to either input a payment, or spending amount. If I made a mistake and needed to change the amount- it doesnt allow me an easy way to do so. A lot of things seemed locked in stone once you initially input your numbers, and the "done" button freezes up frequently. If the app worked the way its supposed to, it would be perfect. Hopefully an update is made to fix all the glitches. Design and concept has a lot of potential
This app says that you can edit planned payments when the "snowball payment" option is turned off. So I turned off that option and tried to edit the payment, it doesnt save! I clicked done and then went back to the payment schedule, no change. Whats the point of being able to change the payment if nothing else is going to update?! Pretty annoying.
I cannot enter Debts. Tried everything, seems simple enough but Debts do not save. I just got had for $3.00
I just downloaded this app and it doesnt work. When I put in a balance or payment amount, it shuts down and loses it all. I want a refund!!!!
